Feature Friday No. 3 – 3D Printed Phone Cases

Welcome back to this week’s Feature Friday! Today we will be talking about the custom phone cases you can either, order, or design yourself. Have you ever wanted to customize your own phone case? Create an original design, that no one else has?

With our 3d printing services, we can make that happen. By coming into the café, you can do one of two things; Chat with our designer on staff about your case ideas. Or, if you would like to create it on your own, you can do so by learning about the very easy to use, and free software; Tinkercad. After you have your design all set, we would love to print your creation on one of our Sharebot 3D printers. If you have a little bit of time, you can stay and watch your design materialize, while sipping on one of our café beverages, or enjoy some authentic British culinary items.

               “It’s truly an exciting process to see your thoughts and ideas come to life in the form of 3D printing. Also, it is a great way to show off your creative side, and have a very useful object in the end!” says Gingerlee Lovelady, our intern.

We have many samples that you can take a look at, in the shop, to draw inspiration from if need be. You can choose from a variety of colors, we offer for your case to be printed in. A phone cases normally takes about an hour to print, which translates out to be about 15 Euros. A great price for an original piece!
