stl file uploader

Today DimensionAlley proudly presents our file uploader – Beta version.

It accepts .stl (our preferred file format to 3D print). Simply click on the menu item “Upload To Print” to get started.

From this page you can upload the .stl file from your computer. The object is rendered as a 3D model so you can pan and zoom around it. The price is a guide for the print cost and we will confirm the exact price and time till pick up by reply email. In case we need to add any supports to make the print possible we will contact you about that too! You won’t be billed for anything until we have agreed the details.

As we have a large range of corn starch based  filament (PLA) colours to choose from as well as some special ones, like wood, stone and flexible, you can add a message once you “Request to print”  if you don’t find the colour of your choice in the colour picker. 

The uploader and viewer is powered by our partner company, Design Factory 3D who provide a complete cloud platform to enable businesses and institutions to  turn themselves into a 3D printing (ad)venture!
