3D printing pop up storeOn Saturday 31st May we took part in our first pop-up store event. It was hosted by Kids Corner Berlin, a café and kids activity centre in Berlin’s Schöneberg. We packed up a display box with all sorts of 3D printed goodies that would interest Mum’s and Dad’s as well as their little ones, and brought our trusty Ultimaker2 off to the other side of Berlin to show off 3D printing and explain our concept. The Ultimaker2 is especially good for events due to the feature in the slicer software Cura that allows us to print objects completely one at a time. So we can set the printer to create 27 mini robots as giveaways and as each one is finished we can hand it out, fresh off the press to excited customers. ultimaker robot armyWe took part at the pop up with several other Berlin based companies.
