Sharebot ABS – Black

Sharebot’s vibrant colours make wonderful 3D prints. A favourite of our 3D printing service and optimised for use in the Sharebot range of material extrusion printers

• Type filament: Black ABS 1.75mm
• Optimal extrusion temperature: 220 to 230 degree Celsius
• Heated bed required 90 degree Celsius

The ABS is a thermoplastic polymer derived from oil and it’s used to produce lightweight and resistant objects like LEGO bricks. During the printing process ABS requires an higher extrusion temperature than PLA. Printing bed has to be heated in order to reduce deformations and warping, particularly for objects wider than 10cm.
